Established in November of 2009, the UT Kappa Phi Lambda was founded by seven motivated young women (Shirley Luong, Jaclyn Nguyen, Jocelyn Lo, Erica Hui, Victoria Thai, Sunny Ruy, Christine Su). The seven women’s efforts in bringing this sisterhood to Austin, TX made them the first to expand towards the west. Asian American Heritage Week 2010
Asian American Heritage Week is an event hosted by APAC (Asian Desi Pacific Islander American Collective) every year in April to celebrate Asian Americans on campus and in the community. The Korean Undergraduate Student Association (KUSA) hosted it’s most anticipated annual event, KUSA Culture Night (KCN), on Friday, March 26th, 2010 in the Union Ballroom. Asian Olympics, also known as Dai Hoi The Thao, is an annual event hosted by the Vietnamese Student Associations of three schools: UT-Austin, UT-Arlington, and Texas A&M.
