Sept. 29: Be the Change National Day of Service
The Volunteer and Service Learning Center (VSLC) is proud to co-sponsor the Be the Change National Day of Service, to be held on Saturday, September 29. In advance of the day of service, the VSLC will sponsor a campus kick-off celebration on Thursday, September 27 on the West Mall. Inspired by the late Mohandas Gandhi’s birthday and his philosophy that “You must be the change you wish to see in the world,” the Be the Change National Day of Service was launched at the University of Michigan over a decade ago.
